Our clinic will be closed on Wed. Nov. 3rd from 10:30am to 1:00pm for a staff meeting and all day on Nov. 11 for Remembrance Day. Sorry for the inconvenience.

In-person services (pap smear tests, lump & bump checks, IUD insertions/removals) are almost booked up for November. Our in-person appointment schedule for December will open up on Monday, Nov. 29th. Please note that due to high demand, our schedule can fill up within 2-3 days.

Booking for IUD consults is currently on hold until Nov. 15th so we can catch up on offering insertions for folks who have already had a consult. An IUD phone consult is required before booking an insertion, even if you currently have an IUD or have already gotten a prescription from your family physician.

Phone appointments for STI screening, pregnancy options counselling, and birth control prescriptions are still available this month. Unfortunately, because of high demand for our services, walk-ins are unavailable and there may be wait times of a few days to two weeks for STI testing and birth control prescriptions. Emergency contraception and pregnancy testing are always available during clinic hours but please call ahead to avoid waiting outside.

If you can’t get in to see us and need immediate assistance, please call your family doctor or a walk-in clinic. Pharmacists are able to offer emergency contraception, prescribe birth control (under certain conditions), and may even be able to treat UTIs.

Due to increased cost from the drug company, we have increased the price of Ella (an emergency contraception pill) to $20.

COVID numbers continue to rise and a number of health care services are being limited, which is heartbreaking and challenging for our community. More and more doctors are referring their patients to us for sexual health care which means our phones are busier and appointments are filling up fast. If you’d like to advocate for us to receive more funding from the Sask government to extend our hours and decrease wait times, please contact your MLA and the Minister of Health (Hon. Paul Merriman at 306-787-7345 or he.minister@gov.sk.ca & Hon. Everett Hindley at 306-798-9014 or minister.rrhe@gov.sk.ca).

As always, thank you for your support. Take care down there & out there. ❤️
