Planned Parenthood Regina (PPR) is seeking an Administrative Assistant! The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing broad support for PPR operations and clinic administration with a priority focus on developing targeted communications for youth in Regina and surrounding area.
About the Position:
This position is partially funded by the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs program. As such, the successful candidate must:
be between the ages of 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period;
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment;
International Students are not eligible participants for Canada's Summer Jobs Program.
have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
This is a full time (35 hours/week), 16-week term position with an ideal start date no later than May 19, 2025.
The salary for this position is $21.78/hour, per the PPR Nonprofit Personnel Salary Scale.
PPR term employees earn 1.25 days of paid vacation leave per month.
PPR employees are given paid days off on all Canadian stat holidays.
PPR term employees earn 1.25 days of paid sick and compassionate leave per month.

We are a registered, non-profit organization, governed by the Saskatchewan Not-for-Profit Act. Our work is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors and Clinical Advisory Committee.

About the Hiring Process:
Candidates will be assessed by a Hiring Committee made up of PPR staff.
All candidates who submit an application shall be notified if they were not successful in moving forward for an interview before the successful candidate is announced. All candidates who participate in an interview and are not successful shall be similarly notified.
During the hiring process, a review matrix shall be created that aligns directly with the core responsibilities outlined in the job description. This review matrix shall be used to determine the suitability of all candidates.
All candidates who participate in an interview will be asked to provide a minimum of three professional references who can speak to their suitability for this position.
